What is the focus of the project?
Our project is called 'Fit Minds and consists of three European countries: Ireland, Sweden and Wales. We are hoping to promote the ideal of healthy bodies and healthy minds.
There are two main areas which we will focus on:
Healthy Bodies
We will look at how active we are both inside and outside school. We will encourage each other to be more active in our everyday lives. Through the promotion of sport in our schools, we hope to enhance our general well-being both physically and mentally. We will also look at other ways that we can be healthier - i.e. healthy eating.
Maths
During the project, we will share good practice between our schools on the teaching of maths. We will encourage and challenge each other to improve our teaching and learning in maths.
